This is our original blogging platform, 100% hand-coded from the ground up by our very own Mark—it’s not a rebranding of another popular blogging platform, nor a link to your blog at another site. What this means is that it works seamlessly within your current OCS website. This also means that you can have multiple blogs directly on your website for all your pastors, staff, ministry leaders, missionaries and more. A lot of work, testing, and refinements have gone into making this a powerful, yet super easy tool to use. Our own OCS blog uses this platform.

Work on your posts ahead of time, then schedule them in the future. Easy to do, and a great idea for when you're out of the office or know you'll have a busy week.
Want to allow comments on a blog post? Just check the box for Allow Comments when creating that post using Facebook Comments. Not only will it be faster and easier for your readers to leave comments, it should control spam and allow you to moderate those comments, too.

Your post will not only be listed in date order on the main blog page, it will also have its own permalinked page. This permalink will have a URL (the address at the top of your browser) that's Search Engine Friendly, meaning that it will be the title of your post which makes it easier to be indexed, listed and found on a search engine (Google, Yahoo, etc.).
As your blog grows, older posts will become part of the "Older Blog Entries" link. This means that people can browse your posts page by page.
We've included a helpful Archive list in the Sidebar, letting your visitor know how much you've been blogging over the years. Archive shows year first, then expands to show months, finally expanding to links to posts within a specific month. At each step, how many posts in each section are listed by a number to the side.
Your blog includes social media sharing buttons that automatically appear at the bottom of each page. Your visitor can share the blog post via email, Facebook, Google+, Twitter or LinkedIn.
On the main page of your blog, each post is listed in descending date order. If you create lengthy posts, then that can make for a long list. You can instead give people the first few sentences or first paragraph to whet their appetite, then use the "Read More" feature, which hides the rest of the post until they click it.
Once you've published your post, just click one button to post to your church or ministry's Facebook page.
