New Release: XML Sitemap
Today we announce yet another helpful tool for your website: Sitemap. This is the XML file that search engines such as Google and Bing/Yahoo request that you submit to them to help the search engines easily find pages on your website. The Sitemap is already generated for you with our Online Church Solutions CMS, and it will even automatically update once each day should you make any changes to your website. If you use webmaster tools/analytics for Google or Yahoo/Bing (or any others), you may have noticed that they ask you to give them the link location of your Sitemap. When you login to your OCS website, click on “Website Builder”, then click on “Sitemap” at the very bottom of the Website Builder list. Copy the web address listed (you can also right click and copy the link), then paste that link into the respective search engine webmaster tools.
Find out more info about what an XML Sitemap is and why you need one.
